Dear Heavenly Father, guide me way from wanton sinners and let them not dominate me. Do not let my evil inclination overpower me. It is my heart’s desire to do what is right and proper. Help me control my passion.

PRAYER

Dear Father I am faced with a decision to make today and I don't know which way to turn. Please give me wisdom and discernment on my situation. Without you I am nothing Your Word says to acknowledge You in all my ways and you will direct my path. I trust you completely and I lean not on my own understanding. I give you all the glory and praise and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for answering my prayer. -In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Wait on the Holy Spirit

Don't think about what you will say, it is already in your spirit. Another way to describe the verse "don't think of what to say, but just begin to speak and the Holy Spirit will guide you.

Resolve and settle it in your mind not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense and how you will answer.

Dear Heavenly Father help and guide me in my words. Allow my words to be led by the Holy Spirit. Let my words be few. Help me to become a better listener and open my ears to hear Your word and to be obedient according to Your Word. In Jesus Name Amen

Prayer to appoint leadership and positions

Acts(1:23) And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

(1:25) That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

In the ministry pastors are often put under pressure from man when it comes to appointing leadership and positions. It is not who we think because only the Holy Spirit know the heart of man and his inner most secrets good and bad. Therefore; let's not struggle anymore but allow the Spirit to take over because His Word says obedience is better than sacrifice.
