Prayer to Walk in His Love

Eph 5:1-2

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor.

PRAYER

I come to your Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ and by the Blood that was shed at Calvary.  Help me to receive in my heart the love that has been given to me.  I need to know and to receive Your love so that I am able to walk in love according to Your Word.  Show me Father how I can be a blessing to others.  Guide my words to edify people that I may walk worthy of the vocation you have called me today and always. Without love I am nothing so I ask in boldness to lead me the way to express Your love to others the way Jesus having a merciful heart full of grace and forgiveness towards others,  I thank you Lord because I know that your have answered my prayer and I give you all the praise and glory in Jesus Name.  Amen

God is Able

2 Cor 9:8-11


And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

David's Prayer

1 Chronicles 17:16-27

And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.

For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.
And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.

To please you; however I need your help. I come to you today

PRAYER


Dear Heavenly Father, guide me way from wanton sinners and let them not dominate me. Do not let my evil inclination overpower me. It is my heart’s desire to do what is right and proper. Help me control my passion.

PRAYER

Dear Father I am faced with a decision to make today and I don't know which way to turn. Please give me wisdom and discernment on my situation. Without you I am nothing Your Word says to acknowledge You in all my ways and you will direct my path. I trust you completely and I lean not on my own understanding. I give you all the glory and praise and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for answering my prayer. -In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Wait on the Holy Spirit

Don't think about what you will say, it is already in your spirit. Another way to describe the verse "don't think of what to say, but just begin to speak and the Holy Spirit will guide you.

"Luke 21:14) Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

Resolve and settle it in your mind not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense and how you will answer.

(21:15) For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

Dear Heavenly Father help and guide me in my words. Allow my words to be led by the Holy Spirit. Let my words be few. Help me to become a better listener and open my ears to hear Your word and to be obedient according to Your Word. In Jesus Name Amen

Prayer to appoint leadership and positions

Acts(1:23) And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

(1:24) And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

(1:25) That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

In the ministry pastors are often put under pressure from man when it comes to appointing leadership and positions. It is not who we think because only the Holy Spirit know the heart of man and his inner most secrets good and bad. Therefore; let's not struggle anymore but allow the Spirit to take over because His Word says obedience is better than sacrifice.
